Goadsby’s Business Transfer Division are pleased to report the recent refurbishment of the popular Chilly Wizard ice cream business in Christchurch, following the sale at the end of last year. The new owner, Sue Clarke, has just started selling artisan ice cream, which is being produced in her new factory unit. The new flavours on offer include Cadburys crème egg, cherry and chocolate and candy floss and marshmallow.
The unit which is situated in Saxon Square in Christchurch has been completely refurbished and upgraded internally with new equipment. In May a new shopfront will be fitted which will “open up” the front of the unit.
Mark Nurse of Goadsby Commercial commented, “Even though Sue Clarke has only recently purchased the business, she has already made substantial improvements which have significantly increased turnover. In addition, she has also invested in a new factory unit to produce an extensive range of artisan ice cream which is now generating great feedback from customers”.
