100 km Fundraising Challenge
Ian Jude from Goadsbys Ferndown Office (pictured in the centre) has just completed the South Coast Challenge in aid of Wessex Heartbeat. The event entailed a 100 kilometre challenge across the South coast. Starting in Eastbourne and across the South Downs, along Brighton sea front and eventually finishing at the Arundel Football Ground.
The hot Bank Holiday weekend weather added an extra obstacle to the already enduring event but despite the pain and blisters Ian kept pushing through to achieve his goal of completing the challenge in a time of 24 Hours 44 minutes.
Ian went on to say “Although I was a little way off my target time, this being my first big event I’m thrilled to have completed & survived. With many people dropping out around me it felt imperative to push on through and reach my goal”.
There is still time to donate to this great cause, Ian will be leaving the page open for a further few more days so that people can donate. Please follow the link below. Anything you can give will be going towards a worthy cause.
