Goadsby have set the bar with a record 10 week turnaround from a tenant vacating to completing a new roof, securing a new tenant and all dilapidations being completed. Following the expiry of the lease on Unit 37 South Hants Industrial Estate the tenant decided to vacate. The building, which is managed by Goadsby for a long standing client, was in need of some upgrading. The management department immediately appointed, and oversaw, our building surveyors to undertake a full roof renewal and contract works for remediate dilapidations. Whilst works were undertaken to a tight timeframe, Goadsby’s agency team were appointed to market the unit to secure a new tenant, Go Modular, on a new lease at a rent of £110,000pax. A speedy success story amongst competing units nearby, meaning the works completed and a new tenant was secured within 10 weeks.
