Gavin Harris, Divisional Director for Goadsby reports a very busy start to 2022.
‘Our two Purbeck offices, Wareham and Swanage have already sold or sale agreed over £14 million worth of property since 1st January which is fantastic!’ enthused Gavin.
‘We experienced really strong demand for property throughout 2021 and were not sure that this would continue into the 2022, but without doubt it has, with the majority of our properties achieving over their asking price.’ explained Gavin.
When asked where the demand was coming from, Gavin confirmed that the demand was for all types of property but being driven from those wishing to relocate to Purbeck, either as a main home or for use as second home/holiday let.
‘I know that traditionally homeowners wait to Spring/early summer to place their home on the market, but with the current high level of interest I would certainly recommend that they consider doing this sooner.’ explained Gavin.
