Second New Forest B&B Sold

Following closely behind the successful sale of the nearby Le Chateau, the Hotels and Leisure Division of Goadsby Commercial are pleased to report the sale of Twin Oaks at Cadnam in the New Forest.

Believed to have been established as a boarding house for 150 years, during the outgoing 12 year ownership the property achieved a 4 Star (Silver) rating, became a member of the Greenleaf Tourism Scheme and was inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.

Standing in its own grounds, the guest accommodation oozed quaintness and charm, with planning consent having previously been granted to extend the owners accommodation. Enjoying strong repeat bookings, a successful pre-cruise stay and transfer service had been established as a key business driver.

Divisional Director, Ian Palmer, commented, “Twin Oaks was a well earned retirement sale with the New Forest location attracting interest from far and wide. Having said that, the purchasers were a local family who, I am certain with the energy and ambition they bring to the business, will see it go from strength to strength."

Twin Oaks was sold off an asking price of £749,500 and Goadsby continues to seek similar instructions for unsuited active purchasers.
