Goadsby Secure A Sale Of Former British Red Cross Office To Local Independent Charity Goadsby have, on behalf of the British Red Cross, secured a sale of 1 Albany Business Park, Poole to local independent charity, The Leonardo Trust.

The premises comprise a single storey, semi-detached office building extending to approximately 2,500 sq ft and the quoting price was £350,000.

The new owner, The Leonardo Trust, are an independent charity founded in 2001 by a former carer to help and support unpaid carers throughout Dorset. 

The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees, who bring a wealth of both professional and life experiences, including carer responsibilities and since the charity was formed, this has helped many thousands of carers in a multitude of ways.

Donna Blanche, Chief Executive of The Leonardo Trust, commented “Our team work incredibly hard to help hundreds of carers each year.  We can provide funding for crisis awards, counselling, short breaks, domestic appliances, alert lines and key safes, benefits advice and funding for carer groups.  We had outgrown our offices in Broadstone, and we are delighted to be the new owners of Unit 1, Albany Business Park which will become our new head office and provide excellent accommodation to host carer groups and events.”
