Goadsby Commercial are delighted to announce the successful sale of the former Monay premises at 43 Charminster Road to Anwar Chowdhury.
The site will soon be transformed into GIGABITES, a unique American retro gaming diner that promises to bring a fresh and exciting concept to the area.
Anwar Chowdhury, an experienced entrepreneur with a history of operating successful catering businesses and brands in London, plans to launch the diner at the end of January 2025. The diner will provide customers with a one of kind experience, blending nostalgia of the 80’s and 90’s with delicious food and family-friendly entertainment.
The diner will feature a vibrant retro theme, offering classic American staples such as burgers, wings and milkshakes, all served in a setting where guests can enjoy vintage gaming consoles at their tables. This space will also cater to families, providing a venue for children’s birthday parties and other celebrations.
“We are thrilled to bring this exciting new concept to Charminster, said Anwar Chowdhury. Gigabytes retro diner will be more than just a place to eat – it will be an immersive experience where people of all ages can step back in time, enjoy classic games and create lasting memories with family and friends”.
Mark Nurse of Goadsby Commercial said, “This marks the first venue of its kind in the area, promising to become a popular destination for retro gaming enthusiasts, family and food lovers alike. We were delighted to sell these premises to Anwar and have no doubt that he will make a great success of his new business”.
