Lawful Use Sought For Cottage Alterations

18 December 2024
Lawful Use Sought For Cottage Alterations Acting on behalf of a private client, Goadsby has submitted applications for Certificates of Lawfulness of Proposed Use or Development for two cottages at Moortown Drive, Canford Magna. Currently arranged as semi-detached dwellings, the alterations, enlargements and improvements will see the pair split into detached units, with ground floor and roof extensions increasing the floorspace of both.

The applications seek to confirm that the work can be carried out as permitted development without the need to submit planning applications. The design work was undertaken by Harriplan.

A decision is expected from BCP Council early in 2025.
