Planning Appeal for Winton Site

Planning Appeal for Winton Site

22 October 2024
Planning Appeal for Winton Site Acting on behalf of the site owners, Goadsby has submitted a planning appeal against the decision of BCP Council to refuse planning permission for the mixed use re-development of the site of Athena House, Wimborne Road, Winton. Approval was originally sought to demolish the existing building and replace it with a scheme that included office floorspace on the ground floor and nine flats. The Council objected on the basis that the new building would be too large, particularly as it is next to the Grade II Listed Winton Library.

A decision is expected from the Planning Inspectorate early in 2025.

The proposed development was designed by Harriplan of Bournemouth.
