So, a question we are asked at the start of every year. What will the housing market be like for the next 12 months?
Usually, such a difficult question to answer and one where any number of connotations could be likely.
It is again similar for this coming year, however………
What we can be hopeful of is an improvement in economic terms and stability in political terms, certainly if the last 3 years are anything to go by! And what this brings with it is confidence in the housing market.
Whilst I doubt prices will do much, the confidence in affordable mortgage rates and peoples desire to get on with things will bring about more activity and transactions.
With the prospect of inflation dropping and a few tax incentives to sway a voting public we are almost certainly going to have a busier 2024 than 2023. And so......
Our teams have returned after the festive break with enthusiasm and lots of anticipation and expectation for a busy year. They’re refuelled, rested and ready to go again and all we need is, anyone thinking about a move this year, to get in touch and we can talk you through a bespoke marketing campaign to get your property sold or let. If the first few days of the New Year are anything to go by it seems there are a lot of you out there thinking 2024 is the year!
We have some great new build developments launching and available this year, particularly in Weymouth and Poole, which have been in short supply over the past 3 years. These range from studio apartments, 1 & 2 bed apartments and 3 & 4 bed townhouses.
Here’s to a busier and more settled 2024.
