Timing is Everything: Lawful Use Obtained in Southampton

Timing is Everything: Lawful Use Obtained in Southampton Acting on behalf of private clients, Goadsby has obtained a certificate of lawful use for the sub-division of a house in Kenilworth Road, Southampton, to two flats. The conversion of the building occurred over 4 years ago.

The grant of lawful use was issued on the 27th October – the same day that the Levelling Up Bill received Royal Assent. Ironically, the new Levelling Up Act is introducing a phased abolition of the 4-year rule. Timing is everything!
