The Hampshire branch at Goadsby Commercial teamed up with Wheeler and Lai chartered surveyors as joint agents to let the vacant unit in Hayling Island.
The unit totalling 769 sq ft had been let in a white box condition to ingoing tenants Brent Lodge Bird and Wildlife Trust charity who are adding a 5th outlet to the portfolio, continuing to raise funds through the sale of new and donated goods.
Other occupiers in the vicinity include a number of local and national occupiers such as Sue Ryder charity, The Hayling Island Bookshop, local patisseries and tea rooms and pharmacy’s.
Michael Lord, who acted for the Landlord comments, ‘Retail opportunities in Mengham Road, Hayling Island are limited and so we received a good number of enquiries.
Brent Lodge informed of their interest in the very early stages of marketing, this allowed us to move forward and negotiate terms effectively with the landlord and consequently agree a new 5 year lease.’
