Goadsby Commercial’s Business Transfer team has completed on the sale of Hyde-Out Café to new owners Lee Bush and Lydia Daniels.
The popular tea room and café had been operated by our client for over 5 years and comprises 50 covers and seating for over 40 persons in the garden.
The business which is now known as The Potting Shed has already undergone an extensive refurbishment and redecoration in the café, toilets and kitchen and has a newly resurfaced car park.
The new owners Lee and Lydia commented, “We were very excited to have had the opportunity to purchase the café as we were searching for premises locally but within a rural New Forest location. We intend to trade in the daytime from Tuesday to Sunday inclusive from 8.30am to 4.30pm. We will offer breakfasts, lunches, and more substantial meals in an “urban rustic” style experience. In the spring time we intend to offer a tapas evening on Friday’s and also provide events, private hire and party tunnels. In addition we will take advantage of the land we have to grow some of our own vegetables and herbs for The Potting Shed”.
Mark Nurse of Goadsby Commercial commented, “We were delighted to have brokered the sale of this business. I have no doubt that with their local connections and extensive catering and licensed experience Lydia and Lee will make a fantastic success of The Potting Shed”.
