I was dealing with the Assistant Manager of the "commercial retail lettings department". In my 15 years of dealing with local agents I have never come across someone more arrogant, rude and unprofessional. He went out of his way to be as unhelpful as possible. He had no social skills and was not interested in building professional relationships at all. I guess that's what you get from promoting someone young and inexperienced to Assistant Manager.

Pathetic service. Nobody seems to care about the client's valuable time. The lords at Goadsby need to get down their high horse and look at what's happening in the system.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star! They cannot even do basic tasks that their job requires! They sent us a 10hr cleaning charge for a flat we have already left cleaned with video evidence! Incurred the charge without asking us! Try to cover their mistakes and refuse to view the video! Failed to provide us an ending water meter reading 22days after leaving! Now unlawfully holding on to our deposit having provided evidence of the account where the deposit was paid from! Avoid at all costs! Once they got your money they don’t care! Avoid them! Rip off agents!

If I could give 0 I would, wanted to go for a property and they decided to run us around in circles for 4 days and not send the forms we’d filled in to the landlord causing us to loose out on the property. Also if you call and they take your name and number they will not call you back for at least 3 days so you’re better of constantly calling back, or just going with literally any other estate agents.

Reviewing as a commercial tenant, Goadsby were a joy to deal with compared to the previous agent we nearly rented with. Grant and Edd were always quick to return calls, professional and courteous. I am sure they are very busy and under pressure, but this did not affect response times negatively. They always answered e-mails and returned calls. We know they are working for the landlord, but they treated us respectfully.
