Not great service. Initial offers were not passed on to vendors, which I now know should have been. Goadsby Not prepared to disclose details of chain, when I asked at viewing, the only estate agency I met to take this stance during viewings. Trying to say I had agreed to completion dates when I had not. Not told there is a halfway house next door, which should have been disclosed. I received vendors email address in an email chain which is against GDPR. Very cold reception when I picked up keys. Just unprofessional, unfriendly, and now considering a formal complaint.
We initially enquired about a property up for rent and they said they would get back to us. They never did and then they told us after having to call them back the property was already taken, despite us knowing full well they booked viewings for said property the next week as we knew the current tenants. We called again and got a different advisor and they were very kind and helped us submit the required documents and legal information. However we waited a week and didn't hear anything back again, called in ourselves again and got told the property was taken. The lack of transparency, communication and honesty left a bad impression on us.
I am currently renting a house in Boelyn Cresent which is managed by Goadsby. One of the worst and most unhelpful letting agent we have experienced.. They just simply don’t consider any request and have standard response on everything. Seems this organisation doesn’t care and quality check what responses their agency’s are giving to the customers. Avoid renting via them, if possible
Before I booked a viewing with Adam the manager I asked if he knew what sort of heating the rented flat had?he said gas central heating,so when I viewed the flat a week ago with Alex I noticed it was electric heating!??hmm when you ask questions about a place they don't seem to know?Alex kept me waiting when I emailed him questions about the flat but never heard back?I asked another question about about the tank in the kitchen & Adam just sarcastically said I don't know I'm not a plumber!a customer doesn't want to hear that!if anyone should know it should be the manager!? Bad customer service, unprofessional,un helpful. Avoid these estate agents!
