A Proactive Approach Works Again!

Goadsby in Charminster are delighted to report that in the last couple of weeks they have agreed sales on 3 properties which were previously on the market with other agents.

The first property is a large detached 4 bedroom house on Castle Lane West which was marketed at £535,000, the second a well presented 3 bedroom semi in Winton priced at £275,000 and the third a one bedroom flat in Queens Park at £145,000. Tim Winslade Branch Manager comments “If viewing levels are low, you are not receiving feedback and your agent is blaming Brexit, interest rates, mortgage approvals etc then maybe it is time to consider a different approach".

Tim continues, “The semi-detached house on Pine Road had been marketed by the previous agent for 5 months with the vendor complaining about a lack of feedback and communication. Upon being instructed, taking a proactive approach we contacted our entire database, conducted 12 viewings within 6 days and received 3 offers for our vendor to consider before agreeing a sale”.

Having a proactive as opposed to a reactive agent on board is vital to secure the best possible price for your property and with a network of 25 branches in which to offer properties from no opportunity is missed.

If you are currently on the market and would like any advice or are thinking of selling in BH8 or BH9 please call Tim on 01202 859966 or email tim.winslade@goadsby.com
