Freehold Newsagent & Store Sold In Swanage

15 December 2021
Freehold Newsagent & Store Sold In Swanage Goadsby Commercial’s Business Transfer team has completed the sale of Jenkins Newsagent and Convenience Store in Swanage to Richard Hibbs.

The long established business has been owned and operated by the same family for over 11 years and the busy shop enjoys a loyal following in the local community.

In addition to the shop, the freehold sale included a large self-contained 4 bedroom maisonette above. The maisonette comprised 4 double bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen and had a small outside decking area to the rear.

Mark Nurse of Goadsby Commercial commented, “We were pleased to have sold this busy store and maisonette. The business was formally known as H.B. Hibbs in the 1970’s and the buyers are in fact the grandson and great grandson of the former owner Mr Hibbs.

It is rare that such a substantial business property comes to the market and I am in no doubt that the new owners will continue and improve upon the success of this business”.
