He will also be able to advise on current market trends, undertake research and provide evidence of comparable recent transactions in the immediate vicinity.

For an agreed fee your retained agent will undertake the following:
- Conduct a property search using the brief provided
- Identify and approach owners and agents of potentially suitable properties
- Negotiate the acquisition on your behalf, liaising with yourself the vendor/ agent and your solicitors throughout the entirety of the transaction through to completion
