As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.
Deposit
Equal to 5 weeks' rent
1 X monthly rental Plus £100 for a student property
Tenancies are exclusive of all rates and utilities unless stated otherwise and tenants are liable to pay these along with insurance for their own contents and belongings.
Payment of £50 inc VAT to amend/add/remove a named tenant or permitted occupier – Please note this will be at the landlords discretion
If the rent is over 14 days late an annual percentage rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate will be payable
Payment of the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy
As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following payments.
Administration fee of £416.70 + VAT (£500)
Covering referencing, contract completion, inventory preparation
Usually equal to 6 weeks’ rent
Extension of contract fee £100 +VAT (£120)
This charge is for drawing up extension paperwork between the tenant and landlord
